TNTET 2018 Eligibility DetailsTET Paper-I:
Applicants should have completed Higher Secondary (10+2 Pattern) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized teacher training institute/DIET.
Candidates appearing for final year D.El.Ed Examination also eligible to appear for Paper-I of Tamil Nadu TET Exam 2018.
TET Paper-II:
Contenders have to possess Bachelor’s Degree (B.A/B.Sc/B.Lit) with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography as major subjects in the degree course from a recognized university under (10+2+3 pattern). Must hold Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institute.
Aspirants appearing for final year of B.Ed course are permitted for Paper-II of TET Exam 2018 in Tamilnadu.
Age Limit for TN TET Exam 2018
Candidates who are willing to apply for Tamil Nadu TET Exam 2018 have to possess the age limit as below.
Minimum: 18 Years
Maximum: 40 Years
Upper age relaxation is applicable to the reserved candidates as per rules & regulations of the organization.
TNTET 2018 Application Fee
- For General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 500/-
- For Other Applicants: Rs. 250/-.
